A Year and Some Shots

Kiernan has made it through his first year. He is 22Lbs 8 oz. he is 90% for height and 50 for weight and head circumfrence. He had his big mmr, chicken pox etc shot set. Boo. He did really well no bad reactions so far. He walks, he points, he says "that" well he says "dat" and ights (Lights) and tars (stars) he dose the sighns for milk and eat and he waves good-bye. He has invented a new dance which involves stamping his feet and slapping his chest like a little gorilla. He takes 2 naps a day and loves to eat especially grapes. He gets frustrated with other people feeding him and he wants to do it all himself. He loves climbing stairs and going to the pool and the library. His favorite book is The Kissing Hand and his favorite song is patty-cake.

He is charming and handsome.

He is into everything and wants to eat the dish washing detergent and pull up all the ethernet cables in the house. He wants the TV on all the time. He gets mad when we dont understand him. He hits his head on way too many things by not looking where he is going. He loves to throw his books on the floor. One of his favorite games is the Mommy-throw-me-on-the-bed game.

He is daring and dangerous.

I took the baby monitor out of our bedroom lastnight because he is sleeping through the night. It gave me nightmares thinking I would miss something vital.

We go for walks everyday and now sometimes he goes to the door to indicate his desire to go outside.

He is independant and loveable.
