Opa and Grandma Evelyn have come out for a short visit that just got quite a bit longer. Unfortunately Grandma Evelyn had a spill on the basement stairs and has broken her hip. She is on the mend from hip replacement surgery and residing in a rehab facility. Wow!
Our plans for their visit included visiting the cherry blossoms down on the mall and doing lots of family get together things. Our warm spring has lead to fun shopping trips for short sleeved shirts and jammies and visits to Rita's for frozen custard. Nom! We have also gotten our summer haircuts a bit early as well.
Megan has been gaining dexterity by leaps and bounds. Grabbing everything in site and biting anything near her face. Gracious she is a biter! We are insanely busy and trying to be more organized to help cope with it. We came up with a weekly menu plan to eliminate shopping trips and ease cooking/menu/nutrition fears. I am pumping round the clock to keep up with Megan's constant hunger. Kiernan is dressing and undressing himself and we have a plan to have a major potty training weekend up coming as that all feel by the wayside with our sleep deprivation. We are a bit in flux as far as our short term plans are concerned until we know what will happen with Grandma Evelyn.
