Here I am wishing you a Happy 4th of July with one of the only two fireworks that are legal in Maryland.We have had huge power outages due to a storm and most of our local fireworks were cancled this year. I am glad that I got some sparklers and some popers for the kids to throw around. I hope that everyone gets their power pack soon (I am looking at you Grandma and Grandpa Scearce!)
We had a bit of a get together with friends and family in which we did tie dye and ate cookout dogs (both veggie and meat for a change) we played board games and had water gun fights. Everyone brought someting great to eat and it was the most relaxed and pleasent get together we have ever hosted. Both kids had a great time and Kiernan wants to have another party as soon as we can. I let the pool eat my phone so the pictures will be few and spotty for a little while.
On the 5th we went to Sandy Point and had a wonderful time. Kiernan despite this face is deciding what flavor of ice cream to have. It was 102 degrees so we were hot but the water felt wonderful and the ice cream hit the spot.
