A busy weekend with a visit to the new house

The house inspection is this week on Wednesday. On Sunday our buyers agent Mary Richeimer came by and let us into the new place just for the occasion of showing it off to mom and the kids. That was very kind of her and it all went quite well.

I think everyone liked what they saw.

The rest of the weekend was pretty normal. We got back to church (that was a bit socially hard again) and visited with grandma and grandpa Scearce. It was grandmas birthday and we celebrated by digging in the garden. There were swimming lessons and skating practice. I forgot my keys at Scearce's so Kiernan was left without his equipment for his skating lesson. We therefore skipped that one.

Of special note we made a trip to Ikea to check out the world of home furnishing and design. At Ikea Kiernan elected to play in the kids area instead of joining us for shopping. He has never done that before and the decision pleased and surprised me. I wonder if he will want to do that again. He said in the ball pit he wanted me there very much but he also said that he was happy to play in the kids area.
Also on Saint Partick's day we flew a kite and drank tea.
