I'm so blue

We have begun the process of car shopping. I think we have may even picked a car. I like the idea of picking a car but I really don't enjoy driving a strange car or a new gear boy in front of a stranger. Ug

It has been a very rainy week.

I like my hair and am taking way too many pictures of myself.

Megan got invited to a birthday party this week. She was so very happy.

We went at 5 on Friday and stayed until a little past bed time.

She gave her friend a twin of one of her favorite unicorns.

She ignored the pizza and had only a bite of cake and strained at the bit to go play the games.

She played the Jurassic Park shooting game until her 100 credits wore out.

Then she climbed and played LASER tag over and over.

I had quite the moment when I realized that I couldn't go with her into the LASER tag but that one of the fathers was going in.

It was too late for me to get my own pass so I paced in front of the exit trying not to think of child molesters for 15 minutes.

Ug!

We went to Scearces. We saw a great baby monarch.

We picked vegetables. It seemed only fair as they seem to need attacking. Look at them taking over the gate!

Uncle Chris and Aunt Pammy and cousin Kaleb came over and they had fresh mozzarella. So we took advantage of the basil and of the fresh tomatoes.

Then the kids got to ride in the truck with me on the way home.

We have big plans for the truck. We are starting to get the house ready for Opa's visit and need the truck to haul around furniture and clear out the house some.

I took the Wolf Scouts for a hike. Only 2 of the 5 showed up but we had a good time and fulfilled a requirement.

Mom got a new mattress.
