Of Some Concern

We just got back from Indianapolis. We went to see the Moto GP race there. The race was great and the weather was awful. Davids back did really well and the rental worked out with no problem. We are definitely looking forward to getting our own car again though.

I had another sono just the day after we got back. This one was less encouraging than the last, basically his kidneys and ureter are enlarged. He was hyper like last time and the sonographer was having a hard time getting good pictures because of all the flipping about. They want me to come back in a few weeks to check again.

On the one hand this sucks because I am paranoid enough without the help. My sister has some kidney stuff so this could be something of that nature. Obviously i hope not.

On the other hand the sono two weeks before saw nothing and it was a higher resolution machine at an ultrasound specialist place.

We shall see.

Usually enlarged kidneys don't mean much (approx 80% of the time) but with the ureter also enlarged there is more likely hood of something actually being wrong.

I wish I'd taken a copy of the report be cause there are enlarged kidneys and there are ENLARGED kidneys.
