Kiernan the mighty

We got a 50$, 7 year old play-set from Craigslist. Some of the wood was rotten but David is handy and went with Kathryn's daddy to get lumber and after some measuring and drilling and random labeling we are on our way.
This is the 2nd weekend of dedicated play-set building and the sand box is up and running. One of the two frames is standing and a rope ladder is anchored. So far so good!
I am hoping to stain and paint it to restore the original look. It was mostly green and yellow with the usual deck red brown for a base. There is also an abandoned A frame for an old swing-set on the property. It is extremely rust ridden but quite heavy and sturdy so I might put some non-lead based coat and some new paint for that as well. I am trying to chose between baby swings for Kiernan and Erena or a tire swing for the older boys Nathan Sam maybe Ian and Michael too... or I could hang the extra poarch swing off of it.

Kiernan is spending and will spend more and more of his time at "grandma and grandpa" Scearce's of late so I have decided to turn their place into a daycare like facility.

Driving the Montgomery Ward Lawn tractor that hasn't run in years, but you couldn't prove it by him.
Despite it's current lack of incline the slide met with approval.
