home again

We are home. We almost had to go back to the hospital for readmission. That was so discouraging. Kiernan had quite a meltdown today, that wasn't much fun either. Things are improving though. We did not have to go to the hospital and Kiernan got over it. I know more is to come but we are pushing through what we knew would be a rough time.
I am pumping and breastfeeding like crazy so that Meg is getting as much milk as she can possibly hold. She is supplementing nursing with bottles and is eating like a champ. This should really help bring her bilirubin levels down and her weight up...we shall see.
I went for a walk with Kiernan today and we both felt better for it.
Thank God for mom and all the help she has been.
She deserves and I hope will be getting her own special entry here.
We got tons of sweet happy families over for trick-or-treating tonight. Did everyone's hearts good to see it.
