Things have changed

It is time to prep for Christmas and cold enough to look for good indoor activities. Grandma and Grandpa Scearce are done watching the kids and mom (Nana) has begun their care. I think Kiernan is particularly missing the individual attention of Grandpa. One adult to one child is obviously a pretty good ratio.

They talked trains and engines and built railroad tracks and hung out reading stories.
Mom is very kindly taking the kids to see grandma and grandpa in Silver Spring every Thursday.

Kiernan will turn 4 next month and will move up to the next class at church.

Kiernan is transformed at church. He is playing with other kids now and instead of having to push him forward to take part i am having to wrangle him out of under tables off of rocking horses out of felt board display stands and down from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The kids were enchanted and inspired.

Megan is loving being outside and will walk as far as we let her. In the evenings before dinner even if it is raining she wants to walk up and down the sidewalk.

Kiernan is now big enough for the lederhosen that his Opa sent him.

Nana has her hands full but is doing some great stuff with the kids. She takes them to the nature center and the library and has art day with them. I am sure she is exhausted and wondering what she has gotten herself into.
Additionally Nana has moved in with us.
