Spring Flowers, Great Falls and signing week

We are so happy to have some good weather. We went to both Great Falls and Brookside Gardens this weekend.

The Falls were amazing.

We saw lots of blue herons (see one in the top of Megan's hair in this pic).

This is our last weekend of normalcy before signing and moving. The signing is on the 25th (three days from now). I thought we would spend the weekend packing but we did not. We did a good bit of organizing and throwing away (took hours!). This will help quite a bit with the packing. It still feels a bit odd to be less than a week out and not really packed at all. 

Our plan at this time is to spend much of Friday at Ikea getting flooring and then maybe HomeDepot getting some paint. We might also get some yard stuff from my dad. I would quite like to get some grass seed down before all the April showers are over.

I am stressed. We have so much to do and it is amazingly hard to do most of it around the kids. Originally we hoped to shuttle them off to Scearce's but because of the hip replacement thing that wont be happening. There has been a little difficulty with the paper work because of David's new job At my work we are going through the ISO audit. Our 20th class reunion is next weekend and I can't think how we will get the time to go to it. Also of course buying a house is such a big thing. Mainly the taking on of that much debt has me uneasy.

BUT

The kids are healthy. It is spring. The sky is blue. I am a very lucky me.
