Bowling and reading and hanging out at the spa

This week we settled into some of the best of times worst of times that I was expecting. Megan hit a short napped, sick,  and jealous stint that resulted in more than a few assaults on 

Erena.
Erena's allergies and jet lag began to really wear her down.
Kiernan had car sickness and two girls pestering him.

On the other hand we made it to the library a few times and the girls quite enjoyed that.

Kathryn and I had our first girls day out and went straight to Spa World 

I love Spa World so much.

If you ever feel like you just cant get enough hot water in your life then this is the place for you.

Over all it was a good week but we got a nasty shock when David called his dad to say hi on Friday night.

Poor Opa had a horrendous headache and seemed to be having a bad reaction to the medication he had been given for a painful bone spur in his back.

Thankfully Evelyn took him to the ER after our call. They said his blood pressure was through the roof and that he was having a pre-stroke. He is still in the hospital today for observation and pain management.

We were worried about him all weekend.

Poor David was stressed and even forgot about his big company event.

The event was bowling.

It was a blast.

It was very good for him to go eat free pizza and play with the kids and hang out with friends.

I lost my phone on Saturday night so the following pictures are his.

We had a great time.

Kathryn and Erena are spending the week at Scearce's this week so the house is much quieter.

Pax may be transitioning to sleeping downstairs this week as she has a big operation upcoming and wont be able to use the stairs for a bit. That will no doubt make things quieter as well.

Today is report card day and tomorrow is the 100th day of school for Kiernan.

Megan and mom will spend the day doing stickers and crafts.

We are praying for David's dad.
