More bounce and some snow

In keeping with our bouncing theme I got the kids some pink stayballs to ride around the house. They immediately took them to the trampoline to see if they could bounce to the moon.

Megan and I can now both do a midair front flip. She is landing on her back and I am landing on my butt. We are very pleased with ourselves.

I made a big stack of veggie breakfast burritos.
I have been meaning to try this for a while. I love the idea even if i really don't like eggs or veggie meat very much. I am hoping they will make Davids mornings easier.
I am hoping the kids will try them. they are nutritious and quick and easy to clean up after.
these are egg and cheese and 'sausage' and jalepenio.

They look very festive with the left over Christmas foil.

On friday I took Megan to the mall for my once every half decade visit to Victoria's Secret to stock up on way too expensive but long lasting bras.
You may not be surprised to learn that I now own some very pink bras.
She had a great time.

On Saturday morning it snowed.
It was supposed to be opening day for t-ball and Little League.
Snow!
I am so pleased to report they postponed until Monday after work when the warm weather makes more sense.

We went back to the mall so Kiernan could ride the carousel too.

The kids found a scrap metal rock band sculpture and did their heavy metal bit. It was not overall a good plan to go to the mall on empty stomachs, close to nap time, on a saturday when it was too cold to be outside.

Sunday morning was Pancake time as usual. After a nice breakfast we went out and joined a gym.
I am very pleased about this decision and not just because of the trauma of the Victoria's Secret mirrors.
This is the same gym that mom goes too and it has a pool and 2 kids play areas and it is very close to work. So I am hoping we make good use of it.
hopefully updates of fitness to follow.

Kiernan had a pretty off week. His stomach hurt a lot and he was very sensitive and so we decided to move his bed time up by half and hour and to spend some one on one time with him to see if we could sort things out.
So after the gym David took Megan on a date and I took Kiernan on one. Our first stop was Grandma and Grandpas to see his favorite grandpa and not be interrupted by his sister (we also got his fox toy that he had been missing). Then we went out to eat at Pizza Hut (his pizza of choice just now) then we went to Jimmie cone for 2 small hot fudge Sundays. We chatted about anything he wanted and He told me several times how happy he was.
He still got a bit sick later in the day but seemed steadier on his feet all the same.
We are going to try to do this every weekend. We will alternate kids and of course skip it if we have too much going on but I think the one on one time is very helpful.
We shall see.
