Spring Time

Things are going better in the Kiernan Erena multiverse. We went through a pretty rough week of clinging and crying and don't touch my toys. A number of people have asked me about how this effects our idea of having another baby. It shows that Kiernan needs to learn some emotional flexibility. It shows that he needs to know that he is loved even if we focus on other things sometimes. It shows that he is only two years old and having any other person let alone another baby around is hard. It show me that another baby would be very hard and that maybe it would be a really good idea. It is spring and finally we can go out more. Kiernan loves the outdoors and he was sick most of the winter so that our natural outside tendencies were overruled by out better judgment and sore throats. We are all very relieved to have the outside accessible again. David has pronounced the playset fully operational. We will sand and paint it soon but it looks wonderful and plays just fine. Kiernan had some company in the form of the Akumbu's and Erena so her is having to learn to not sit at the top of the slide to pontificate. lol David is a wonder and this playset is just fabulous! He put so much work and time into it and he really seemed to enjoy having it as a weekend project. It has a sandbox a slide 2 infant swings and a "motorcycle" swing. There is a picnic table and a rope ladder and a fireman's pole as well but Kiernan hasn't noticed them yet. One more big kid swing set after the painting and then we will look for what else his playground should have. David and Kiernan playing cowboys on the rocker cows in the park...the cows moo when you bounce them.
