This was a fairly quiet week. In the routine of things on Friday David wore his Redskins Jersey to work for Football Jersey Friday. Before he left for work he took a little time with Megan and the Teletubbies. He is such a great dad.
Kiernan was playing his new favorite math game. In this one he is a fixer...a construction worker a plumber and a mechanic, here is cutting the boards with the number 6 on them.
We went to the mall in the morning and to party city. We had been watching the Pirates of Penzance and decided to go grab so nice cheap post-Halloween pirate gear. With a little stop for some climbing in the warm.
Upon our return we boarded the good ship Couch and plundered it for snacks.
I love Megan's duck lips at then end of this sequence. This is a face she made as an infant.
After naps and through out much of the rest of the weekend we added to our pirate crew and watched more Penzance. Sitting on the floor laughing at the Modern Major-General song with Kiernan may have been the highlight of my week.
On Sunday Licia ran her first Marathon. Have a look at my running blog for more on that.
This was a great weekend for the kids playing together. They were making up games and goofy sounds and all sorts of entertainments for each other. It was so so sweet. When Aunt Lore came over for lunch on Saturday she got to see them greeting each other with very serious handshakes and how do you do's.
I got a video of them playing on Kiernan's bunk bed. I think this is basically king of the mountain plus peek-a-boo.
