Happy New Year

Google's year in review slide show looks pretty good this year.

 This man has a new job!

He starts this week. 

It is a big deal.

This week was pretty busy. 

We took Pax to the vet. She is now up on her shots and has her rabies vaccination. I will be getting her license this week and then her only big ticket item left this year will be getting fixed.

The kids wanted to see the vet and were just tremendously helpful...

We spent a quiet New Years Eve at home with a tasty meal and a small run of fireworks and sparklers. Mostly the pictures were just too dark but Kiernan loves this one. He insists that this is Megan displaying her Queen Elsa like ice powers.

David and Kiernan are working on a Super Mario Galaxy theme song in their guitar lesson time.

Its going very well.

We went to Ikea and hung out with Grandma Mary and Papa. 

This year Nana joined a gym and the gym has a daycare. She is planning on going to the gym and leaving Megan in the daycare while she is there. It is very cheap (1$ an hour) and it has some amazing features like gymnastics equipment and costumes and My Little Pony figurines. My main concern is that Megan has never been in any sort of care facility on her own. 

So we took advantage of Ikea's care facility and Kiernan showed Megan the ropes.

An hour later when we retrieved them Kiernan was standing by the window bored and ready to go and Megan was still jumping in the ball pit. Kiernan complained that Megan had done nothing but jump in the ball pit for the past hour. They were not supposed to jump in the ball pit and he had not but no one stopped Megan. the green eyed monster got my obedient boy...haha.

We went to Scearce's and Pax made a puppy like whirlwind of herself.

Kiernan got his first loose tooth.

We went to moms gym and gave daycare another trial. They had a great time and didn't want to leave and my mind is put at ease about how much Megan will enjoy herself.

To cap it off we saw good friends and enjoyed their company to start the year off right.

Aunt Judy came up for some Elementary viewing and a good hangout.

Most wonderfully my long ago boss Amy came for lunch and a nice chat. 

I hope to see her again soon.
