Fighting through it

It is too cold. I stepped into s dusting of snow this morning.
Despite the cold the calendar insists that it is spring.

T-Ball has therefore begun. Kiernan was very excited about it. This year he is on the Yankees team. I am not a fan of the Yankees but this year I will wear blue with pride. There are some veterans on the team but I got the impression that it was mostly newbies. Our coach (Coach Moore) seems nice and I have great hopes for the season as Kiernan's overhand throwing has seen a remarkable uptick.
It was too bad that David had a meeting that night so he hasn't had a chance to see the team yet.
On the other hand his meeting included autobahn go-kart racing so it wasn't a complete loss. Ha

Megan was very sick all week, high fever and shivering chill episodes and horrible congestion. She couldn't sleep and David and I took turns sitting up with her through the nights. It has been pitiful.
We have all had a resurgence of whatever it was we had last week. My throat has been on fire and mom has earaches and even David has something.

Kiernan has less than the rest of us so he has been escaping the house of plague to school. This is a great game of phonics twister that he played this week.
I love his teacher! What a great idea this is.

By Friday Megan had managed a full nights sleep and a real nap and was much more her own self. We went out to Frederick to get new shoes for ever growing feet and had a fun mommy & Megan lunch. David had a big test which he passed. We all went out to Jimmie Cone to celebrate his new Security+ certification.

Over the weekend we laid around, played video games and did some laundry. We had a few shining moments in which our favorite motorcycle racer achieved a great victory and our guys rocked out on the guitar.
