We all fall down

For Mothers Day I got mom eyebrows.
This is the life of a redhead. Your children get you eyebrows.
lol

All our work over the last two years of training the blackberries and raspberries looks to be paying off this year as we have enough promise of fruit to make everyone excited. The flowers are lovely and the hope for fresh and easily accessible berries is lovelier still.
Also we have about 14 little fuzzy peaches up on the hill.

Lemon Ginger tea.

I've been feeling sick and low most of the week. I have been fighting fever and body aches and sinus pain. On Monday night my fever got so high and the head pain got so bad I actually passed out. I did this on the stairs at 3 am and gave my poor husband (and myself) quite a scare. I took Tuesday off and felt miserable and exhausted.
I am trying hard to save up vacation time for Disney in August so I went in again on Wednesday and just moved slowly and kept my head down. Thursday wasn't so hot either.
Every evening I had chills and shaking and fell to sleep hoping tomorrow might be better.
By Friday I was more than ready for not going in early.
I was taking allergy pills and iron pills and vitamins and Advil. My teeth had started to hurt.

I looked at my garden and felt happy about how the peas and potatoes looked.

I took my healthy energetic daughter to the park and sat in the shade.

I went to work in the evening really hoping my energy would hold out for the Cancer Walk. I was hoping too for no chills.

David came and met me at work at 9 and we went over to the Banner School and walked for an hour and a bit and talked about life and death and his mom and music and energetic teenagers dancing the night away. It was good.

On Saturday we took Davids car in for maintenance and had a day out. We went to Bagel City. We went to Wheaton Regional and rode the train.

Megan loved the train. It was so crowded that we got split up into mommy and Megan seating and in a further up car daddy and Kiernan seating. We chatted and enjoyed our ride.
Then we went to the playground and Kiernan climbed like a monkey. He had such a rough week too. He stopped getting along with his antibiotic and started throwing up and feeling sick whenever he got into the sun. For him that meant recess and sometimes gym (I think). He threw up at school just before getting on the bus home and mom had to go in and get him. Then he threw up in her car. OH mannn.
So it was especially good to see him, now finished the meds, climbing and playing and singing his I-have-climbed-a-tall-thing song.

He made it all the way up and sang to all below.
Megan had a go as well but she is a little small for that thing.

While at the playground my head got quite bad and we headed home. I had David drop me off at the Mount Airy Urgent Care Center. I was given the diagnosis sever sinusitis (sinus infection) and packed off to the pharmacy with a prescription for antibiotics and steroids. I am now taking both and feeling better by a good bit.

Then we rushed off to get Davids car.

Back home we watched videos and played with  the dog and took it easy.

Kiernan is in the process of ear recovery. After the antibiotic comes the perforation clean up and hopefully healing. He is still pretty deaf on the one side but he has so much blood and gore in there that its hard to tell whats causing it.He is not loving this process.
We are starting to give Pax more freedom in the house. I am taking her upstairs with me for cleaning and laundry times and David is removing the living room gate more and more often.
She was peeing on the rugs upstairs and we didn't want her up their at all but one of the dog books said that if they find a place they haven't been often, dogs tend to want to pee there because its not part of their 'den' area. So she is taking short supervised trips to the corners of the house that she isn't used too.
She seems very happy with the exploration and so far hasn't peed or eaten more than a butterfly sticker and the legs off of a poor magic clip Belle doll.

Megan and Pax are best buds. There is still too much poking on Megan's Part and nipping on Pax's part but they are very happy together and I think we have really accomplished something fantastic with those two.
Megan is not afraid of dogs anymore and Pax has a litter-mate for life in Megs. Here they are watching TMNT and getting on each others nerves. Megan keeps grabbing Pax's tail and Pax keeps chewing on Megan's hair. They swat at each other then go right back to it.

We went for a nice walk on Sunday and I got a little gardening done and that was mostly it for the weekend other than laundry and dog washing.
I am happy with how the yard looks and feel like we could use a little more rain.

This week itss back to T-Ball and planing a beach trip.
